So lately It's come to my knowledge that the ball joint doll club I joined a few years ago doesn't want anything to do with me. When I first joined, I didn't have my doll. As soon as I purchased one, it was fine for a little and then everyone started to pull away from me (and note; these are people who live within ten to fifteen minutes from where I am). I haven't been to any of the meet ups except one and only one and that was when I was dolless. Since then I've tried to hitch rides with people or offer rides (because my mother doesn't like me driving alone to the city of Birmingham which all meet ups tend to be- she thinks I'm going to have a wreck). When I offer rides to those without a way to get there, they get mad at me. When I ask for a ride, I get an excuse. When I invite the local girls around here to go do something (movie, coffee or whatever) I get excuses....

Now, I understand real life stuff going on and that's fine, but to constantly give me an excuse gives me the feeling that 'oh, I just don't want to hang out with you' or 'oh I just don't like you'. I'd rather not have someone be two faced with me, if you don't like me, say it, tell me because I don't like being yanked around.

So in conclusion, since everyone's either too busy being someone else's friend or just avoiding me all together, I withdraw from my BJD club. If there's another I could join in the Alabama area, let me know.
